Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit for Arcade provides LLM-ready tools for creating, reading, and editing .docx files stored in OneDrive via the Microsoft Graph API.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new Word documents in OneDrive, optionally seeding them with text content (4 MB upload limit).
- Document reading: Retrieve document metadata and full content; content is returned as Markdown by default, with a metadata-only mode available (
.docxformat required). - Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxdocuments (4 MB limit). - User context: Look up the authenticated user's identity and Microsoft Word environment details.

This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Microsoft provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup instructions, required scopes, and configuration details.
